Zelda Craft Geocaching Have You ever heard of Geocaching and wanted to try it? Don't have a clue what geocaching is? Geocaching is the recreational activity of hunting for and finding a hidden object by means of GPS coordinates posted on a website. When you find the hidden object, you take an item from it and place one of your own inside. In our case, this will be coordinates in Minecraft worlds on Zelda Craft. Coordinates of hidden objects will be posted in this thread as well as a short clue to where the item(s) may be. What does the hidden object look like on Zelda Craft?A Zelda Craft Geocache will always be in a chest that is available to everyone. Above the chest is a sign that reads: "GeocacheTake SomethingLeave Something" A geocache will never be buried partially or fully. A geocache can/may be inside of a cave. A geocache will never be inside someone's house/base. A geocache can/may be at the bottom of a body of water. Some geocaches may be randomly supplied with valuable items/tools. What do I do if I find a Geocache? Take something from the chest. Place something in the chest. If there is a book to sign your name in, do so and place back into the chest. I quite like the idea. The only downside is that it's guaranteed that a lot of players are just gonna take everything and leave it empty.
I have teleports to all the locations. If people take the items and do not place a new one in, they will be recorded. If they do it enough times they will be temp banned. This is meant to be fun for everyone.
Good plan. We'll have to try and think of a way to make it so people can only take one thing, and try and make it fair. It'll be good for the server to have some little things like this to give people stuff to do.
The game is to take something and leave something. There may or may not be diamond gear in a geocache. It all depends on what someone leaves.
Oh yes vay, repeated copies of our erotic love story spammed throughout the server in random chests is a splendid idea.
I will use this as an opportunity to teach the adults of tomorrow a lesson. They shouldn't expect to be rewarded just for goofing off and finding some chest. Thats why I'm going to leave a trap for them, and a hoe so they can start actually working.
They need to learn real values. Kids have it too soft these days. When I was 6 I was slaughtering chickens for food. Want to know what they do now? Color in stupid pictures, and they get in trouble if they even consider killing the chickens. Its time to teach them to work, and beets are the best way to do it.
