1: this all comes down to an opinion 2: beedle isnt even important skyward sword at all first of all people can say that the noises beedle made in wind waker is sexual (EVEN THOUGH no one did but it sounds it) and also ravio is a very important character you thought he was just a bunny but really he's the counterpart of link like what bug said also ravio is just better because hes a purple bunny really WHO doesnt like purple bunnies but still this is MY opinion so their really is no answer as too who is better.
You really couldn't tell it was a mask? He had human hands and you could tell he was wearing a robe..
Ravio is the failed hero of Lorule. He runs away from his duties and Link has to accomplish them. Beedle does nothing to make Link do more. Ravio makes Link do his work, and puts him in danger. Beedle floats around in a boat and does nothing but aid you by selling items at reasonable prices. (Also, he looks like a Beetle, and they are my favorite band so, yeah)
Beedle is a jerkish cheap nobody that everybody hates, after buying 10 items from him, all you get is a "thank you." Your first item from Ravio is half off that you buy. Ravio is likable from his humorous scenes and his kindness. Ravio is a head of kindness. Beedle is a head of cabbage.
Th Thee thing is, you don't even need to see Beedle if you don't like him. If you don't like Ravio, then sucks for you. You need to see him. You also let Ravio over take your house while you fix his mistakes, and he still charged absurd prices.
He most likely did it because Hyrule is thriving and riches, and if there was some way to fix Lorule, he could hand out money and shiz.
